Trust, in practical terms Clear answers for LGU decision-makers, with technical details for the people responsible for IT and records.

For your IT office

Review how iGAT is hosted, how workspaces are separated, who can access records, and how your team can choose cloud or on-premises operation.

Hosting options

Our managed cloud runs on servers in the Philippines, with encrypted nightly backups kept with Cloudflare R2 outside the country. You can also run iGAT on servers managed by your organisation. Both use the same product.

Workspace separation

Each LGU has its own workspace and isolated data store. Access is limited to authorised people in that workspace.

Access and accountability

Roles control what people can see and do. Activity records help your team review important actions.

Backups and records

Backup arrangements depend on the hosting option. Your team can discuss recovery, retention and export requirements before signing.

Data privacy

The Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) sets requirements for handling personal information. In our managed cloud, we are the personal information processor under a data processing agreement that names our subprocessors and how quickly we report a breach. Your LGU remains the controller and is responsible for its lawful processing decisions.

Procurement records

iGAT can record procurement steps and related documents. It does not certify legal compliance or replace decisions by authorised staff under RA 9184.
